You have decided to get married, and I would be honored to officiate an extraordinary, personalized ceremony for you.

As you select your wedding officiant, here are the important things you need to know about me: I want to lead the way in creating a ceremony that reflects you, your love, and all the things that you hold most dear in the world. I will provide unlimited consultation and assistance to you in fashioning a breathtaking ceremony and delivering it to perfection. Wedding planning can be stressful, and I want to help you actually enjoy this important part of the process.

As I tell my couples: “You have already done the hard part—you found each other!” So relax…..let me tell your love story as no one ever has. And remember that a beautifully designed, personalized wedding ceremony will set the stage for a joyous celebration afterwards!

I am here to offer advice and ideas concerning all aspects of the ceremony including music, readings, rituals & customs, and staging and to write and deliver the service. I stand ready with a wealth of experience, an enormous library of resources, and terrific ideas so that your wedding is an exquisite reflection of your life, love, and aspirations for the future. I have studied art, history, religion and music and am eager to be your “go-to” person in wedding planning.

An ardent traveler and life-long learner, I am always on the lookout for wedding inspirations. In addition to my work as a marriage officiant and life-cycle celebrant, I have more than 20 years experience in education, nonprofit management, and event-planning; I am ready to address any question or request, large or small. (And, I am an excellent event trouble-shooter, if need be.)

I adore the creative process and look forward to telling your story to those who are most important in your life.

Let me prepare and provide a ceremony that is beyond your wildest dreams!

My Philosophy

I am a Non-Denominational Minister and have respect for all faiths. I have a broad understanding of wedding traditions from various faith and religious traditions, as well as wedding customs from cultures around the world.

I have received diplomas from the Celebrant Foundation & Institute, USA, where I now serve as a faculty member. I live in New York City, but bring with me a hospitality that I attribute to my home, Oklahoma. In addition to this work that I adore, I devote myself to a variety of charities on issues relating to education, children, health, and the arts.

Finally, should you select me to officiate your wedding, I will make a donation to a charity of your choice, following the wedding. I can’t think of a better way to honor your new marriage. For me, this is a small way of “giving back” for the privilege of working with you at this milestone in your life, as well as the many gifts I have received over the years.
