NYPL Wedding

As I perused social media today, these wonderful shots came up from an October 2019 stealthy elopement at the New York Public Library.  It brought back such happy memories.

For those who don’t know the NYPL, it is centrally located in midtown Manhattan at 5th Avenue and 42nd Street.  Only a few blocks from Grand Central Station, it is adjacent to the wonderful Bryant Park.  One of the most important cultural and educational institutions of New York City, it is currently run by Dr. Anthony Marx, previously a professor at Columbia University and President of Amherst College.  (Truth be told, I’ve had a crush on Tony Marx for many years. I’m just glad he’s in charge of one of my favorite micro-wedding spots these days.)

This ceremony was organized by Simply Eloped and shot by Gianna Leo Falcon.  It shows the stately building backdrop against the extraordinary vibrancy of Fifth Avenue in the heart of America’s greatest city.  What a superb place to exchange lifetime promises.
