Pebble Beach, Brooklyn Bridge Park

Brooklyn has become the hottest borough in New York, of late.  Many of my couples are eager to capture not only the uniqueness of this location, while also capitalizing on the skyline of Manhattan.

The Brooklyn Bridge Park is a perfect choice for so many eloping couples.  With the Manhattan and Brooklyn bridges as the anchors of the area, the gorgeous Hudson River is complemented by the artsy, cobblestoned neighborhoods of DUMBO and Williamsburg, all within short walking distance.

Of the numerous fabulous spots in Brooklyn Bridge Park for a wedding, Pebble Beach is quickly becoming a favorite.  This nifty beach area is complemented by tiered step seating is perfect for a larger elopement or micro-wedding.  The beach makes for lovely pictures and is just steps away from backdrops suitable for romantic photos to last a lifetime.  Photographer Toni Skotcher caught super moments, for Simply Eloped, on a balmy summer day for our couple and their 30 guests.  The Brooklyn Bridge Park is a public-private venture with stricter policing than other areas, including Central Park.  If you are interested in hosting a ceremony there, wedding permits are required.
