Back in April, I married the lovely Alex and Chris, Aussies who were making a new home in New York. He was as handsome as she was beautiful, on that crisp spring day in Central Park.
Everyone shined, basking in the glow of the love between the bride and groom—and their obvious affection for the guests. The couple exude an ease and upbeat attitude that I so appreciate among the Australians with whom I work. Alex and Chris are global adventurers who decided to set up shop in the Big Apple as husband and wife. Serenaded by an LA guitarist, with rock star good looks, the couple enjoyed my personalized ceremony, with a few flourishes. While many of their closest family members and friends joined them for their big day, some were unable to attend. So, I carefully gathered good wishes from siblings and grandparents, among others, who showered sweet blessings on Alex and Chris, as we prepared for lifetime promises.
The couple’s “First Look,” captured by Falcon Griffith, was at the uber chic Hudson Hotel. They wedding party enjoyed post wedding cocktails and dinners at cozy restaurant Palma.
