I love making gifts to my couples in honor of their new marriage. There is always something in their biography that speaks to me. Today I officiated a wedding for two for whom hiking had become a favorite activity. In fact their proposal story took place in the stunning Joshua Tree National Park in California. The proposal was not without hiccups, but intention was expressed for future hikes in their new marriage. As I prepared for their wedding in Central Park, I stopped by Shakespeare & Company, the bookstore of CUNY’s Hunter College. In my mad dash, I headed to the travel section to find this perfect “bucket list” book published by National Geographic. I wish them many happy trails!
