What a Grand Year it Was!

The end of one calendar year, celebrating the holidays, and marking the New Year provide the obvious opportunity for giving thanks for the wonderful couples I’ve had the pleasure to marry.

My association with the magnificent Simply Eloped company has connected me with all kinds of couples—young ones just starting out, those relishing a second chance at love, gay, and straight, young and old.  I’ve served teachers, stay at home moms and dads, police officers, members of the military, architects, horticulturists, carpenters, attorneys, secretaries, bar and restaurant owners, engineers, talent agents, human resource specialists, bankers, hospitality employees, physicians, students, truckers, musicians, public relations professionals, fork lift drivers, developers, public servants, bricklayers, retailers, accountants, diplomats, entrepreneurs, project managers, event planners, realtors, health coaches, software developers, pharmacists, data analysts, teachers, printers, child care providers, nurses, hair stylists, community organizers, business owners, dentists, security managers, social workers, administrative assistants, mechanics, truck drivers, paralegals, environmental specialists, artists, manicurists, authors, graphic artists, psychotherapists, gemologists, boilermakers, handbag designers, personal trainers, consultants, film makers, emergency medical technicians, e-commerce gurus, painters, wait staff, financial analysts and advisors, life coaches, chiropractors, insurance agents, sports journalists, court reporters, foremen, piano teachers, communications specialists, museum directors, custodians, transit workers, travel agents, and chefs, among others.

Our couples came from many American states such as Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.

And, we were fortunate to serve people from all around the globe:  Australia, Austria, Canada, China, Dominican Republic, England, Haiti, India, Indonesia, Israel, Ireland, Jamaica, Lebanon, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Northern Ireland, The Philippines, Portugal, Scotland, Singapore, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Trinidad & Tobago, Venezuela, and Wales.

Here’s to a wonderful 2019 with beautiful couples and families, seeking sweet, personalized ceremonies in New York and beyond.  Mazel Tov! Photos courtesy of Gianna Leo Falcon, Marta Zapardiel, and others.
