About

CONGRATULATIONS! You are getting married, and I would be honored to officiate an extraordinary, personalized ceremony for you.

As your wedding officiant, here are the important things you need to know about me: I want to lead the way in creating a ceremony that reflects your love, your personality, and all the things that you hold most dear in the world. I will provide unlimited consultation and assistance in fashioning a one-of-a-kind ceremony and delivering it to perfection. Discerning couples have no patience for “cookie cutter” weddings; let’s create a magical experience for you and your guests.

Wedding planning can be stressful, and I want to help you enjoy this important part of the process. As I tell my couples, “You have already done the hard part—you found each other!” So, relax…let me tell your love story as no one ever has. And, remember that a beautifully designed, personalized wedding ceremony sets the stage for the joyous celebration to follow!

My Philosophy

I am a Life-Cycle Celebrant and Inter-faith Minister, and I have respect for all couples and traditions. And, I believe that every wedding—whether a private elopement or a grand event attended by hundreds of loved ones—deserves time, care, and attention to detail in the ceremony development process. I have broad understanding of wedding traditions from many faith and religious traditions, as well as customs from cultures around the world. I have received diplomas from the Celebrant Foundation & Institute, where I have served as a faculty member, as well as the One Spirit Learning Alliance, an Inter-faith seminary in New York City. I have been featured by Good Morning America and the Rachael Ray Show, as well as publicized by the New York Times, New York Magazine, The Daily Mail & Telegraph, The Guardian, and more, receiving awards of distinction from WeddingWire, The Knot, and Style Me Pretty.

I am a long-time New Yorker, but bring with me an emphasis on hospitality that I attribute to my being raised in Oklahoma. In addition to this work that I adore, I devote myself to various charities relating to education, the arts, and hospice care.

Finally, should you choose to work with me, I will make a donation to a charity of your choice, following the wedding. I cannot think of a better way to honor your new marriage. For me, this is a small way of “giving back” for the privilege of working with you, at this milestone moment in your life, as well as the many gifts I have received over the years.

“The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched they must be felt with the heart.” Helen Keller
