What’s Old is New Again

It’s hard to find anyone who is more sentimental than yours truly, so I was thrilled when I came upon “Unbox the Dress” on my Facebook feed.  This is a wonderful company, based in North Carolina, that specializes in not only preserving wedding dresses, but re-purposing them into special items for special days.  Check out their website!  They have taken saved (and I’m sure much loved) wedding dresses into Christening gowns, handkerchiefs, wedding “getting ready” robes, dresses for girls, handbags, Christmas ornaments, and more.  With a team of highly skilled designers and seamstresses, the group “upcycles” wedding gowns for the next generation of brides, children, and babies.   How many of us have hoped that our cherished garments might be used just one more time…a group like Unbox the Dress may just be the answer to that wish.

Enjoy a few items from their collection.
